Their program features works by four women composers, from the Romantic period through modern day, including Rebecca Clarke’s Piano Trio; Amy Beach’s Piano Trio in A minor, Op. 150; Cécile Chaminade’s Piano Trio No. 1, Op. 11; and Jennifer Higdon’s Piano Trio.
This is a great opportunity for youth interested in music to hear up close a violin, a cello, and a piano collaborate to creating an interesting program.
All students coming to this event get in free. And any adult bringing one student to the box office that evening gets $10 off his/her ticket; two students, $20 off.
Please tell students about this special November 16th offer. They can go to the Neave Trio's website www.neavetrio.com to hear samples of their music."
